The National Pension Scheme Authority wishes to remind employers of domestic workers of their obligation under the National Pension Scheme (NPS) Act No 40 of 1996, to register and remit social security contributions on behalf of their workers.
Employers of domestic workers are therefore, being urged to immediately regularize their contributions remittance with the scheme in order to ensure that their workers are equally accorded protection against the contingencies of death, old age and invalidity.
The Authority has further eased the process of complying with the NPS Act as both employer and employee registration including monthly returns filing can be undertaken online.
To register as an employer and your workers as well as to file monthly returns, log on to www.napsa.co.zm and click on the eServices tab and then under employer login, click the sign-up tab and proceed with the on-screen instructions.
Failure to comply with this reminder shall attract sanctions as provided for in the NPS Act.
