NAPSA has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the right to social security through enhanced collaboration with the Judiciary and other stakeholders.
Speaking at the Southern Region Magistrates Sensitization Seminar organized by NAPSA, Acting Director General Conrad Sichande emphasized the critical role the Judiciary plays in enforcing the National Pension Scheme Act and safeguarding workers’ right to a dignified life after retirement.
And speaking at the same function, Chairperson of the Chief Justice’s Advisory Committee on Training and Continuing Education, Honourable Lady Justice P.K. Yangailo thanked NAPSA for organising the seminar to sensitise the magistrates on the developments taking place at NAPSA. “On behalf of the Chief Justice of the Republic of Zambia, Honourable Mr. Justice Mumba Malila, and the Advisory Committee on Training and Continuing Education, I wish to convey our sincere appreciation to the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) for its collaboration with the Judiciary Training Committee in facilitating this important engagement. This is especially important in view of the ongoing pension reforms,” said the Lady Justice.
The seminar brought together magistrates from Southern, Eastern, Western and Lusaka provinces. It was aimed at sensitizing the judicial officers on the ongoing pension reforms and exploring areas of mutual collaboration in pursuit for fair and just social security system.
