NAPSA Drives Digital Transformation with Payroll Integration

The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has marked a major milestone in modernising Zambia’s social security system in partnership with Lusaka Online Limited. This follows the successful convening of a Payroll Integration Launch and Training Workshop, which brought together employers from various sectors using the Flex Payroll System.

At the centre of the workshop was NAPSA’s iCARE platform, a digital solution designed to streamline employer return submissions and improve service delivery.

The new integration delivers a seamless compliance experience to employers by offering:

In-payroll submission, eliminating the need to exit the payroll environment for return submissions
Precision-driven compliance reporting through enhanced reconciliation capabilities
Real-time, in-payroll KYC resolution that replaces manual, error-prone interventions, ensuring every return is right the first time
Reduced time and administrative costs associated with NAPSA return submissions

This advancement not only strengthens operational efficiency but also enhances transparency and improves access to benefits for members.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of Lusaka Online Limited, which successfully completed full integration of its Flex payroll system, becoming one of the first providers in Zambia to achieve this milestone.

The workshop forms part of NAPSA’s broader 2027–2031 Strategic Plan, reinforcing its commitment to delivering efficient, customer-focused, and technology-driven services that are transforming the pension landscape.
