The National Pension Scheme Authority has dissolved the entire executive committee of the NAPSA Stars Football Club with immediate effect. This decision has been taken to reposition the club for enhanced performance.
A new management structure consisting of the Board and Management has been constituted to oversee the activities of the team going forward.
Chairperson of NAPSA Sports Clubs, Mr Mason Mwiinga has thanked the former executive for their contribution to the team, but reiterated that the change had become necessary.
“I believe this will inject some new ideas into the management of the club and help to change the tide.
“I would like to thank the executive for the support and contribution to the team and wish them all the best in their endeavors,” he said.
The new board and management team will be headed by Mr Zingani Phiri as Board Chairperson. Other Members of the team will be announced soon.
