Mr. John Chundu

Mr. Chundu has been an integral part of the Authority since January 2018, serving initially as Head of Risk before his appointment as Director of Risk.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. In addition, Mr. Chundu is certified in Enterprise Risk Management by the Institute of Risk Management.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Mr. Chundu brings a wealth of expertise in risk management, governance, compliance, and operations. His extensive background positions him as a key leader in safeguarding the Authority’s risk management framework and ensuring adherence to best practices in governance and compliance.
